Long awaited, DeliverOn can now be installed in the 'Delivery Method' stage of WIX Checkout.

This presents a significant improvement to the customer experience, including express pay compatibility. Updated marketing, onboarding guide and current customer communications will be released shortly.

Customers cannot initially select a date with my pickup only store?

It is strongly recommended that for a store only offering pickup, that the DeliverOn pickup and delivery settings are indentical. This allows the customer to always be able to select a date and timeslot with the same logic as explained fully in this video

Customers are confusing billing and delivery details in WIX Checkout

Accepted Answer

This can be a common issue for businesses such as florists who often have a different recipient and buyer. Although this is a WIX issue, and not related to the DeliverOn app, here is a useful checkout layout suggestion:

Adding a "Recipient Details" heading with the above suggested layout, as well as helpful text such as "this email will receive the order confirmation", can improve the customer understanding.

Adding a recipient email, or other recipient fields, can also be helpful for you and your customers.

Can I offer timeslots for delivery and pickup?

Yes!

The latest version of DeliverOn (version 3), allows for timeslots. You can define them in the dashboard settings for each day across delivery and pickup.

Customising Delivery Date display in WIX emails

Accepted Answer

By default, delivery date information is displayed in the WIX emails.

If you would like to present this information in  another place in emails, you can use personalised content (Go to Checkout Settings):${additionalSummary.customField.customFieldTranslatedTitle} :${additionalSummary.customField.customFieldValue}

To display nicely formatted as;
"Pickup Date : 31 Jul 2026, 11:00-13:00" or "Delivery Date: 31 Jul 2026, 11:00-13:00" depending on delivery or pickup method.

Question 6

Can dates or timeslots have a limited number of orders?

This feature is in early development, please contact support@phoedesign.co.uk and this feature can be added to your site. An annual or monthly premium app plan must be active - free trials will not be eligible.

Can I use DeliverOn with Google & Apple Pay?

Yes!

Version 6 of the app finally launches a unified widget, fully compatible with express payment methods such as Google and Apple Pay. Please see the related FAQ for updating and installing this widget for existing app customers. New app installations will automatically have the latest app and widget versions.

Delivery dates are not showing in 'Print Order'

This is a known issue from a recent formatting update to Wix Print Orders - they are aware of the issue, and are working to include this information in the new format. To receive the old format, with delivery dates included, please contact support@phoedesign.co.uk : please include your site URL and I will organise with Wix support.

What is the difference between DeliverOn and WIX Local Delivery Time slots?

DeliverOn is not to be confused with WIX Local Delivery Time slots.

This WIX Feature does not have the advanced logic and management which DeliverOn provides, and is limited to local delivery only.

If you store only offers local delivery, without pickup or wider delivery, and does not require blocking dates, enabling dates & overrides, advanced settings, date restrictions and logistics then this basic WIX feature may be a preferred option.

To use DeliverOn, please do not use the "Delivery Time slots" in your WIX local delivery setup. You will use the WIX shipping, delivery & fulfilment settings to create your delivery regions, profiles and rates - but not time slots, DeliverOn manages this.

WIX displays their local delivery only time slot options inside the "Delivery Method" stage, and if this appears in your checkout, please refer to your WIX shipping, delivery & fulfilment settings to remove them;

Why can I not see DeliverOn in my checkout?

Please check the widget is installed via the DeliverOn Dashboard Page in your Wix Site, in the "Settings" Panel.

Please also check that your "Checkout Behaviour" in the Settings Panel is saved to one of the visible options (Display, Error or Warning Behaviour).

Members with a stored addresses are having issues with expediated checkout

Accepted Answer

To expediate members through checkout, WIX pre-fills stored information for members, and this unfortunately skips the interaction with DeliverOn - and it can not be obvious on how the customer would go back in enter their date (they can click Edit). This is a technical limitation of WIX checkout, and I am working with their eCommerce team to improve integration.

A helpful workaround is to add any required field to your checkout form, if you have something applicable to your store such as a gift message, allergy details, delivery notes then this will be ideal - you can even use a star rating input for customers to "rate their shopping experience". Any required field without a default value will invoke the WIX checkout to remain on the customer details section, with all the stored information pre-filled. Importantly, this does not expediate past the date selection in customer details, creating a better overall customer experience.

If you are experiencing any issues with an installation or update of DeliverOn please:
- Ensure your site has been published after install or update
- Save your DeliverOn settings from the app dashboard settings.
- Wait a few minutes and refresh your checkout
- If you continue to experience issues then contact support@phoedesign.co.uk with your URL and any screenshots, recordings and description of the issue.

I aim to provide support as soon as possible. After documenting and reporting the issue, you may consider disabling DeliverOn in the dashboard settings if the issue is preventing customers checking out.
